Good small market that can't be miss! The small parking in the back helps. They also have specials for tacos too! And the staff/ cashier was nice and friendly.

Great atmosphere and produce, plus a bunch of spices and products we can't find anywhere else they are arranged by region of origin. The food bar is delicious and highly recommended. There's a small parking lot in the back and street parking as well down the side streets if the spots along San Pablo are taken.

Well stocked supermarket with all the basics and more, and friendly staff. Great selection of snacks from all over Latin America. Also has a meat counter and some pre packaged foods like ceviche. Highlight is the cafe, which has burritos and tacos, including great lengua ones (pictured).

First time having Baja fish and that was over 3 hours ago and I'm still full. Came with beans and rice, a side salad with guac, and Pico with spicy sauce on the fish which was pretty good. You can come here to get your own food to cook or have them cook something for you. It was pretty busy when I got there which made it a bit crowded and aggravating with ppl staring at me. Not like a glance but a full out gawk. Their prices are decent and they have just about everything you might need.

Great little grocery store! Produce section is super fresh and the prepared desserts are very tasty. They also have a restaurant section with daily specials (like taco Tuesday). We got tacos, chicken enchiladas, and horchata, and they were delicious and affordable. All the employees are super friendly.

Mi Tierra is my favorite family-owned, not-chain grocery store in Berkeley. They have an impressive variety of produce, spices, meats, and more, and not only Mexican and Central American goods, but also South American goods from countries such as Colombia and Peru. The prices are accessible and more affordable than the average in the area, especially given the high quality and cleanliness. I always find everything I need for cooking and baking recipes, and the employees are very friendly and kind. I come here frequently, and I was heartbroken to see today that one of their glass window doors was broken into, so I hope that even more residents can come by and support this amazing business

Great local grocery store. Excellent and affordable produce/butcher it is my go to for large gatherings as they have all the best grilling options that are reasonably, delicious and easy to prepare/assemble at home and impress your guests. The attached photos are the spread I assembled with everything purchased from Mi Tierra, all of my friends were very impressed and left with full stomachs and big smiles! Also has a wonderful taqueria
